Greetings,
I hope this message finds you well. I am excited and humbled to announce my candidacy for the
position of At-Large Board Member within USASA.
I am a devoted mother of three who has been the state administrator for the past 17 years for
the Metro-DC/VA Soccer Association. I have been very fortunate for the past 3 years, while
serving as Region 1 Deputy Director, to be part of a board that truly gives so much of their time
and effort, and always puts its members first. In my role as Deputy Director, I cherish the fact
that I have been able to help make a difference, by offering new ideas, which in turn, has
provided opportunities to help our soccer community grow.
My journey with USASA events started under “USASA Coed Cup”, as a volunteer and player
(lucky enough to bring home a few medals). I am also proud to be a part of the USASA Soccer
Fest Committee. For the past 8 years, I have volunteered, played and brought my children, one
of the best gifts ever, to show them what's in store for their adult soccer futures. I have served
for the past 4 years on the Region 1 Cups Committee. My heart is still recovering a bit from the
passing of our Cups Commissioner, Jack Testani, but his kindness and devotion will always live
on in each one of us.
Soccer has always been more than a game to me—it's a community, a source of inspiration,
and a way to bring people together. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside
many of you, witnessing the passion, dedication, and talent that make our organization truly
exceptional.
Like all of us in USASA, I have spent most of my life playing, supporting, coaching and cheering
on my kids, (crying as my youngest heads into her freshman year of college). I embrace this
next chapter of my life.
As I step forward in this new chapter, my goal is simple: to continue fostering an environment
where every member feels valued, supported, and listened to. I want to motivate them to
achieve their best on and off the field, which will grow our membership and regain those we
have lost. I believe that by working together, we can build on our past successes and create
new opportunities for growth and excellence.
I am eager to listen, learn, and offer new ideas. I will lead with integrity and enthusiasm. I
sincerely hope to earn your trust in this journey.
I am hoping to speak with each of you in the upcoming weeks and listen to your thoughts on
how to better serve all members of USASA. I respectfully ask for your support.
Thank you for your consideration. Please feel free to reach out to me and let me know if you
have any questions or suggestions.
Sincerely,
MaryBeth Falk
