Work has begun to tear down Laidley Hall, seen here in a photo circa 1966. Built in 1937, Laidley originally served as a co-ed residence hall and later housed classrooms and tutoring services. It has been empty since 2016. The plan is to turn the site into green space, with Holderby Hall scheduled for demolition next summer to make way for new student housing.
