Are You Facing a Skeletal Marketing Budget in 2022?

It’s already October! That might seem a bit scarier than usual. Not only did the months seem to fly by—but now, you’re already supposed to be thinking about 2022.

If you’re feeling particularly spooked by the way your team’s budget is shaping up for the year ahead: You’re not alone.

Many of us are wondering if the year ahead is going to help us capitalize on the choices we’ve made since 2020. But that’s exactly why this is the right time to optimize every dollar.

Luckily, you’ve got experts on your side. At Mad 4 Marketing, we pride ourselves on finding solutions for all budget sizes. And this year will be no different! We know how to make the most of incremental investments through strategic implementation.

Here are a few tips to make the most of your marketing budget:

1) Pursue the truth. Seek proof that every action you’re taking is driving the intended results. If you can’t find the data, then it’s time to focus on trackable strategies. Then you can always justify the expense--or know exactly when to pull the plug.

2) Cut dead weight. Sometimes we let things run just because it’s inexpensive and easy to do so. For 2022, eliminate everything that isn’t driving real profit. You can reinvest that time, energy, effort--and of course cost--elsewhere.

3) Narrow your reach. A modest marketing budget can be a blessing in disguise. It allows you to focus on what’s most important: one audience segment, one social media channel, a really amazing creative strategy, etc. Just because you don’t have all the money in the world, it doesn’t mean your hands are tied. It’s an opportunity to find your niche and thrive.

For a customized plan that will help you make the most of your approved budget—and allay your end-of-year fears—we’re available anytime.
