Closing Chatham elevator bids

Plenty of green on the quote screen today, with corn, wheat, and soybeans all higher. Soybeans made the most gains today. News of labour strikes at Argentina crush plants pushed the soybean complex higher in today's trade. Corn and wheat followed the path higher, wheat was down at midday but finished the day stronger. This weeks US export sales report showed corn and wheat lower than last week at 29.86 mil bu for corn, and -0.75 mil bu for wheat. Year to date corn sales are ahead of last year by 22%, and slightly lower for wheat at -.56% of last year. Soybean sales were 15.21 mil bu, YTD sales are lower than last at -17%. Percent of sales complete against USDA's export estimates are 87% for corn, 90% for soybeans, and 97% for wheat.

Have a good night.
