Get technology help at the library! Book an appointment for an individual lesson or consultation on any of the following tech topics: Computer basics, Android tablets and phones, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, OverDrive digital downloads for Nook, Kindle, or Android devices.

Children's Book Writers' Group

If you’re interested in crafting and publishing children’s books and stories, join us to participate with a group of likeminded individuals to discuss, critique, and broaden your children’s literature knowledge. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to join.

A Concert of Irish Music with Tom O'Carroll

Join us for an evening of Irish music and stories from Tom O'Carroll, folklorist, folk-singer, and instrumentalist.

About Tom: "Dublin born folklorist, folk-singer and instrumentalist Tom O'Carroll brings a wealth of stories, humor, wit and history to his performances. He has played at concerts, festivals, colleges, libraries and pubs all over the U.S. and Canada, as well as his native Ireland, including a stint for one month in Seoul, South Korea. Whether playing a plaintive air on the tin whistle or singing and playing rousing traditional songs to the accompaniment of the guitar or the bodhrán (Irish drum), Tom will captivate all with his lively program of Irish culture."

Saturday Knitting & Crochet Group

The Saturday Knitting & Crochet Group meets on the second Saturday of each month from 10:30 am – noon near the circulation desk at Tyngsborough Public Library. Open to all knitting and crocheting levels. Get together with friends and make some new ones!

Writers' Group

Join us for a writing workshop! Expand your knowledge on writing; critique each other’s work; and get advice on the craft. New and long-time writers are welcome! This will be an ongoing program. The Writers’ Group will be meeting in the Special Collections room of TPL. Meetings will last from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm.

Book Club

The main goal of the club is to break you out of your comfort zone, the genre of the book selected alternating each month. This month we're reading The Life She Was Given by Ellen Marie Wiseman, a historical fiction about found family, betrayal, and coming of age set during the 1930s.

Watercolor Painting Class

Presented by artist and art teacher Brooke Lambert. 

Explore the art of watercolor painting in this class. All skill levels are welcome

The class is limited to 15 students. Tyngsborough residents will receive the first spots when registering. Residents of other towns who register will be on a waitlist, which will open with any remaining spots on Wednesday, March 22nd.
