Spring is in the air at FACT Oregon!

We're looking forward to the renewal of all that spring brings—the longer days, the warmer weather, and the fresh start of another IEP season. That means more calls into our Support Line to help families prepare. It also means lots of training opportunities!

March is both Intellectual Disabilities Awareness month and Women’s History month. Join us in celebrating by heading to the Discover and Discuss section to enjoy videos featuring female leaders in the disability community and highlighting some of the fabulous women who serve on our Board of Directors. Plus, have an opportunity to shift your perspective in our Just for Youth section with engaging videos on both women’s history and self-determination with individuals with I/DD.

What else is newsworthy? Well, we’ve just launched a new Just for Youth page on our website, filled with engaging resources for young people experiencing disability on topics like self-determination, planning for the future, relationships and sexuality, and community and activism.

As always, thank you for joining us in the work of empowering families and transforming disability.
