2023 Meals-4-Kids Drive

A Great Project for Scouts,

Teams, Groups & Families

Join us in tackling food insecurity among youth in our area. Now thru May 15th we will be collecting Meals-4-Kids Bundles (see below for instructions). This assortment of snacks will be delivered to various Boys & Girls Clubs and food assistance programs.

There are 2 ways to participate:

1) Your group collects the food items and we can project supplies.

2) Purchase all products and materials from us for $3 per bundle.

A big shout out to the 2,219 participants of our 7th Annual MLK Sock Roll Challenge!

Community Impact Award

Nominations

Community Impact Award nominations are now open. Honoring youth who make community service and volunteering a part of their world on a regular basis.

Eligibility:

Students grades 7 - 12
Must show consistent community service throughout a full calendar year.
Nominations should be submitted in letter format.
One middle school and one high school student will be chosen.
Deadline is April 15, 2023

Take Your Child to Work Day is Thursday April 27th. Incorporate a community service segment into the day for your young visitors. Take a look at our website for more information or contact us with questions about bringing Giving Tree projects to your company.

#MontcoServes Campaign

Since our launch of #MontcoServes in

December of 2020, 44 Montgomery County schools have taken part in the campaign! Students from each of these schools have participated in service projects provided by this community sponsored program.

Grants Available!

MontCo PA Elem & Middle Schools

Grants are available for Montgomery County PA elementary & middle schools that have not yet taken part in the program. Please contact us for more information to bring a project to your child's school.

National Crayon Day

A day to celebrate & explore your creative side! Did you know??

· The Crayola brand of crayons produces about 3 billion crayons each year.

· Crayons have one of the most recognizable scents

· A poll of 25,000 consumers revealed America's favorite color... is blue!

· The first box of crayons was sold in 1903 & included only 8 colors.
