Special Announcement: Purchase of Shakyamuni Buddha Statue

Our Shrine Room has long enjoyed a beautiful representation of Guru Rinpoche gifted to us by Gyatrul Rinpoche. Now we are buying a statue of Shakyamuni Buddha.

We have chosen a stone statue from Indonesia, 38 inches high, and weighing around 300 pounds. The purchase price and delivery cost of this statue add up to about $2,000, a real bargain amidst the many statues we looked at.

If you would like to participate in the purchase of this new statue, look for a separate email with a donation link. We will let you know when it is seated and you can all come and visit!

New Statue

We just received this beautiful statue of Samantabhadra/ Samantabadri, Yab-Yum, acquired in Kathmandu, Nepal by one of our Sangha members. It is really galvanizing, shiny with a timeless quality. Right now, it sits on Gyatrul Rinpoche’s throne altar: remember to look for it.  Thank you!
