Belen Perez

Belen Perez, Rokudan Renshi, is a graduate of Art History and has been practicing kyudo for more than 30 years. She has a long and dedicated path of study towards the understanding of consciousness and and its transit to the heart.

She is the author of the incredible book "La esencia del kyudo" and has obtained the Diploma of Advanced Studies from the Department of Art History at the University of Zaragoza. She founded the Kyudo Aragón Association and is the director of the Kyudo School at the University of Zaragoza which gives university credit for the course. She has managed to include the official practice of kyudo at the University of Zaragoza and offers courses, conferences and seminars related to the field of Physical Activity and Sports. Belen Sensei is proud to share her passion for kyudo and Japanese culture with people of all ages and backgrounds, and enjoys seeing how they benefit from the practice of this ancient discipline.

About DNKK



The Dai Nippon Kyudo Kai (All Japan Kyudo Association) has been re-established (1911-1945, 2023) to address the international needs of Japanese Archery. As such, we will be reducing barriers with a can-do spirit, daring innovation and a more accessible approach to Kyudo. Embarking on the journey of Kyudo traditionally requires access to specific resources such as dojos and equipment, Additionally, achieving ranks, especially for those located internationally, presents its own set of challenges.

DNKKは日本のアーチェリーの国際的なニーズに応えるために再設立されました。そのため、キャン・ドゥの精神、大胆な革新、弓道へのよりアクセスしやすいアプローチによって障壁を軽減していきます。弓道の歩みを始めるには、伝統的に、道場や用具などの特定のリソースへのアクセスが必要です。さらに、特に海外に拠点を置く弓道のランクを達成するには、独自の一連の課題が伴います。

Our innovative strategy includes modern technology in training and the initial incorporation of Gomi Yumi, which significantly reduces the prerequisites for practicing Kyudo. This flexibility allows practice in various settings, opening the art to those who previously faced constraints. Whether it's a matter of location, accessibility, or resources, DNKK aims to create opportunities for all to learn and appreciate Kyudo.

Whether one's goal is to master the precision of hitting the Mato or to explore the elegance and discipline of the art, DNKK supports diverse paths within Kyudo. We envision a community where each individual's pursuit is valued and supported, fostering a broader and more inclusive understanding of this ancient art.

The DNKK has been recognized by the Government in Tokyo as an Ippan Shaden Hojin (General Incorporated organization #0111-05-010954) with the following authorization:

"The organization will help facilitate kyudo to students internationally and bring enjoyment and enrichment to cities and countries that have yet to experience Japanese archery. (1) Business related to the promotion and dissemination of kyudo and other Japanese culture;
