45th Annual Fulton Oysterfest

March 7th - 10th, 2024

Fulton Oysterfest – March 7-10, 2024, a salute to the oyster industry held at Fulton Festival Grounds, located at 402 Fulton Beach Road. This event includes entertainment, food, arts, crafts, carnival, parade, men’s and women’s oyster eating contests, oyster shucking, and oyster decorating contests. The 5k and the 10k Run will use the Beach Park Road and through the Heritage District in Downtown Rockport. The 2mile Walk will stay within the Rockport Beach.

Austin Street Art Walk

Every second Saturday of each month, from 10 am – 7pm. The History Center for Aransas County

Maritime Camp

The Maritime Camp is scheduled for Monday, March 11-Friday, March 15, 2024, from 9 AM-12 PM. Kids enrolled will learn kayaking skills from Kids in Kayaks, enjoy hands-on learning with sea life from the Texas Floating Classroom, and have fun with acrylic painting their anchor. Then, end the week by having fun with a giant obstacle course. This is a free camp. Space are limited.

Rockport Cultural Arts District has a new program called Passport to Aransas County's Rich and Vibrant History. Your adventure begins with 4 exciting venues to explore.

Visit The Fulton Mansion, Texas Maritime Museum, Rockport Railroad Depot, and the History Center for Aransas County. Goose Island State Park

Open 7 days a week from 8AM-10PM. Park Headquarters is staffed 7 days a week from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Tent and RV camping available; reservations recommended. There is a 1,620 ft. fishing pier, Bayfront campsites, boat ramp, birding areas, hiking trail, and picnic area. While at Goose Island, be sure to visit one of the most famous live oaks in the world, the "Big Tree," estimated to be centuries old - In 1969 it was named the State Champion Coast Live Oak. March 30, 8am - 4pm - Underwater Egg Hunt - 3 to 14 years old can participate in our underwater Egg Hunt. Participants will seek colored eggs in the splash pool (ages 3-9) or competition pool (10-14). Each person will have a set amount of time to find Easter Eggs on the bottom of the pool. Random eggs contain various prizes!

Check out the Disc golf course intertwining among the oak trees. Memorial Park is located at 1601 FM 2165 (Pearl St.) in Rockport. The park includes a 6000 sq. ft. modular skate park.
