Spring is finally here! Join the ASCE Maryland YMG at Centennial Park in Ellicott City, MD for an outdoor picnic to celebrate Earth Day and the change of season. There will be barbecued food, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, lawn games, and bonus - a special visitor, the ASCE Maryland Section President, Charlie Mitchell!

ASCE members and non-members are welcome to attend. Leashed pets & service animals are allowed to attend this event (and don't need to be registered!). The event is rain or shine - we will be at a reserved pavilion. Registration is required, and registration will close several days before the event. Don't wait to register - space is limited due to the pavilion's restrictions!

It's time for another set of newsletter polls! We'd like to host a prep panel for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam soon. Please reply to the polls if you'd be interested in attending the panel, and if you'd be interested in participating as a panelist.

The Mid-Atlantic East ASCE Student Symposium is in approximately one month! This year, the Symposium will be at Villanova University. We hope our teams from the universities in Maryland have a great time and perform well at the various competitions. As you may have seen, we recently redid our website! We are so excited to share all of the changes. We hope the website is a more complete repository of information for our members. If you are interested in helping us keep our website updated, please consider joining our leadership team as a part of our Website Committee!
