Galina Veselovsky from LCI has the following message to share:
Dear colleagues,
As you know, the conflict in Ukraine is posing incredible challenges to the people who call it home, and to the people who are fleeing to escape the violence. Ukraine is my home, so I know just how much people are struggling due to the conflict. On behalf of the Ukrainian families, we are asking for your help.
We have set up boxes in the lobby to collect medical supplies, personal protective equipment (PPE), nonperishable food and clothes that will be shipped to Ukraine. Attached is a complete list of supplies that are so critically needed.
We are working with a Ukrainian logistics company based here in Illinois that will be transporting these supplies to Ukraine. The first shipment will be leaving next Wednesday, March 8, so please make your contribution before March 8 so we can get supplies there as quickly as possible.
We are so grateful for any help you can provide. This is an incredible way for all of us to come together and support thousands of people who are truly in need—and trying to protect their homes and their way of life.
Thank you!
