Save the date for Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The Autism Society will be hosting Kickin' It with Autism : An Autism Acceptance Celebration. Join us at DreamCatcher Park in Surprise for food, games, family photos, community resources, a stroll around the park, friends and fun! This event is free for all ages. DreamCatcher Park is a fully accessible athletic facility and is gated.

Creative Therapy Solution is currently accepting clients for their ABA services, providing personalized and evidence-based interventions for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and related disorders. In addition, CTS offers a PEERs program in a supportive and inclusive environment, fostering social skills and emotional resilience for individuals of all abilities. Meet the Author Event

Join the Autism Society of Greater Phoenix and SARRC as we partner for a

Meet the Author Event. Children’s book author, Megan DeJarnett presents a captivating event featuring her personal journey with a disability and her children's picture book, "No Such Thing as Normal." Families will have the opportunity to engage with Megan to learn about the significance of disability inclusion through interactive discussions on empathy and age-appropriate exploration of disabilities and differences. Megan will be visiting from Nashville! All ages are welcome.

Join us for a meetup in the West Valley! Gather with old and new friends to make connections and have fun. Pizza and refreshments will be provided at this meetup. This group is intended for Autistic adults who are 20+ years old. Registration is required. This meetup is led by Teri Beardsley.

Let's Connect Social Events

Let's Connect Kids: Make & Take Sensory Bin Event


When: Saturday, March 23rd

Time: 12 – 1 PM

Where: Peoria Main Public Library

Cost: $5 per participant making a bin


Join the Let’s Connect Kids Group as we make sensory bins! Explore multiple senses while having fun! Each paid participant will make a sensory bin that they get to take home. Registration is required and spots are limited so RSVP quickly. This event is intended for Neurodiverse children, ages 12 and under. 


Important Note: Please only register the person making the bin. There will be a comment section to include the parent/caregiver/guardian name. One adult is permitted per child due to room capacity.

Adaptive Egg Hunt

Join the City of Surprise Parks and Recreation for an Adaptive Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30th at DreamCatcher Park. The Autism Society of Greater Phoenix is a proud supporting partner of this event. The event is free and pre-registration is highly recommend to ensure everyone is accommodated.


There are two groups available. Ages 10 & Under will be at 9 AM. Ages 11+ will be at 10 AM. Please bring a basket to fill with eggs and goodies. Games and crafts will be available during the first half hour, followed by an egg hunt! Siblings 12 & under are welcome to join in the fun!

Phoenix Suns Autism Awareness Day

Join the Phoenix Suns, Autism Society of Greater Phoenix and other local Autism organizations as we celebrate Autism Awareness Day at the Phoenix Suns game versus the New Orleans Pelicans.


When: Sunday, April 7th

Time: 3 PM

Where: Footprint Center

Cost: $58 per seat


There are a limited amount of discounted tickets still available. Act fast!


Everyone who purchases a ticket through this link will get the exclusive opportunity to enter the arena early and watch the players warm up from up close! If you are interested in purchasing tickets outside of this specific area but still want to participate in pregame activities, please contact Connor Sprague at csprague@suns.com. This only applies to seats purchased via Connor. You must mention the Autism Society to get pregame access.


There will be a sensory room available and ASGP will be highlighted! Don't miss out on this special night at the arena. These tickets are not available at the Ticket Office in Footprint Center.

Sensory Friendly Job Fair

The Autism Society of Greater Phoenix, along with Arizona Department of Economic Security: Arizona @ Work and Rio Salado College, are joining forces to host a Sensory Friendly Job Fair in the Phoenix area. Hundreds of teens and adults will have the opportunity to speak with employers willing and excited to hire them. 


What makes this event Sensory Friendly? The job fair will be spread out into multiple rooms to allow for quieter areas to meet with employers. We will be offering 3 arrival times to help spread out the amount of attendees. Parents and job coaches are welcome to attend but must RSVP.


When: Tuesday, April 9, 2024

Where: Rio Salado College Southern

Time: 1 – 4 PM

Cost: FREE!


An attendee workshop will be held at 1 PM and repeated at 2 PM. Learn about the job fair, how to find and keep a job.
