The rain has let up and Spring is on the way in Sonoma County! It's a lovely time to get out and about and enjoy all that local agriculture has to offer. In this newsletter, we feature farm-fresh ways to celebrate the Spring holidays, plus a diverse range of farm-related events to celebrate this magical time of year. Our members are excited to welcome you to their farms, ranches, creameries, facilities, and foodie hot-spots during our Blossoms, Bees & Barnyard Babies Spring Tour on Saturday & Sunday, May 4 & 5.

SPRING HATCH AT CUVER BELGIAN BREWERS

Saturday, March 23, 12 to 3 pm

Celebrate the start of Spring with chicks, seedlings, and brews at Cuver Belgian Brewers. The sweet chirps of chicks will fill the patio in addition to a child-friendly seed-sowing station. Soil, pots, and even carrying bags are being provided. Adults can choose from 11 craft beers. Redwood Hill Farm – Capracopia launches their Spring Farm Tour season March 23, going through the month of April. The public tours will take place Saturdays and Sundays at 1 pm. They also offer private tours based on availability Mondays to Fridays. Enjoy kid cuddles, feeding adult goats, and learning how to milk a goat. EASTER EVENT AT SANTA ROSA COMMUNITY FARMERS' MARKET

The annual Easter event at Santa Rosa Community Farmers' Market on Farmers Lane starts at 10:30 am and ends when all the eggs have been found! For the younger kids (3 & under) and kids with sensory and/or special needs, the event will start at 10 am. Free. 1501 Farmers Lane, Santa Rosa.


OPENING DAY AT BEES N BLOOMS

Saturday, March 30, 10 am to 4 pm

Starting Saturday, March 30 (Easter weekend), Bees N Blooms will be open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm. Stroll the gardens, visit with the chickens and geese, and shop the Farmstand. OPENING WEEKEND AT MOTHER GARDEN NURSERY AT OAEC

The Mother Garden Nursery at OAEC opens for the season April 6 through October, Saturdays & Sundays, 10 am to 5 pm. At this year's Food and Wine Awards, Farm Trails members and a former Farm Trails executive director will be honored for their contributions to local food and agriculture!
