Mountain Explorers will have a new space beginning Wednesday, 3/20/24. Our new location will be at the First Baptist Church-Asheville, 5 Oak St., Asheville, 28801. The administrative team will be joining Mountain Explorers during this phase of the move and offices will be located with the program on the fourth floor.
To move all items from the current location and re-set rooms, Mountain Explorers will be closed on Monday, 3/18/24. The program will re-open at First Baptist on Wednesday, 3/20/24.
With our new location comes new processes. From 3/20/24 to 4/3/24, Sybil and Carlyn will meet you at the first level entrance to the building and guide you to the elevator and the fourth floor, where the new program is located.
After 4/3/24, caregivers will need to bring their loved one to the fourth floor and connect with Sybil or Carlyn before leaving the building. Caregivers will need to return to the fourth floor at 3pm for departures.
If your loved one arrives via a third-party transportation provider, that provider will be given a number to call to have a team member meet them at first level entry way.
