STRATEGIC PLANNING (TCI)

We had a great turnout for the discussion on the strategic planning for our church. We welcome you to take the opportunity to volunteer in your area of interest and be part of the implementation process. Updates and news will appear regularly on our website.

As promised in the Stewardship section, we will be calling you! Click here to catch up!

More information on our website -- click second icon "Parish Strategic Planning" on the homepage.

STEWARDSHIP

If you have a bank account, IRA, 401k, cat, dog, life insurance, or car, you have an estate. If you think that estate planning is for the super rich, please reconsider that idea. Whatever you own has to be dealt with and distributed when you are no longer here. Someone will be the beneficiary. If you do not list beneficiaries, then the state you live in will distribute your assets. So, leave a message, not a mess. Consider who you want as beneficiaries. If you are part of the St Nicholas family, then include it as a beneficiary. Name St Nicholas as a beneficiary on your 401k, IRA, bank account, or life insurance. The percentage might be one percent or ten percent or larger. Of course, you will take care of the other members of your family as well. Estate planning and gifting to the church are possible no matter the size of your assets. We will explain more about estate planning, but your listing St Nicholas as a beneficiary is in your control and does not even need an attorney for this simple step.

We wish you a long and healthy life.

MORE INFORMATION

REMINDER: Do you enjoy a nice cup of coffee and a piece of pastry following each Sunday’s Divine Liturgy? Of course, you do. That’s why we’re asking those who have not sponsored a Sunday fellowship hour in a while to please sign up for the many opening dates available. We all like to chit-chat with our fellow parishioners with a coffee in-hand. So, please step forward. It’s real easy…..all you need to bring is some pastry (nothing fancy) and a gallon of milk. The church supplies the rest (napkins, plates, cups, etc.). If you have questions, just call the church office.

Thanks much for answering this appeal. We all will appreciate and thank you.
