Inland Rivers, Ports & Terminals Presents
Tools You Can Use

Presented by:  Aimee Andres
Executive Director of Inland River, Ports & Terminals, Inc.

Ms. Andres will update the group on the recent activities of IRPT, including a Memorandum of Understanding that IRPT recently signed with the Panama Canal Authority.  She will also describe the opportunities that will be provided at IRPT's Annual Conference in Kansas City on April 24-27, such as the "Who Works the Rivers" career fair conducted by RiverWorks Discovery, a program for port commissioners and board members conducted by the International Association of Marine Port Executives, and complimentary registration for manufacturers and shippers to attend on Thursday, April 27, for the conference sessions that demonstrate the supply chain advantages of the inland rivers.

Ms. Andres will provide news about legislative developments taking shape in Washington, such as the restarting of the Mississippi River and Tributaries Caucus by Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer and the legislative meetings being organized by fellow associations Waterways Council, Inc. and the American Waterways Conference.

The Club's goal is to bring together people from all segments of the river industry to talk about issues and ideas important to our industry. The St. Louis River Industry Club offers an opportunity to socialize with shippers, cargo handlers, carriers, legislators and advocacy groups, as well as representatives of the US Coast Guard and Army Corps of Engineers.

WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF SPONSORS!!!

If you know you are not going to attend please notify us ASAP. The number of attendees gets turned into the caterer the Friday before the meeting.
