  • I love this time of year, when grass starts to grow again and flowers start to bloom. Springtime is always the start of new beginnings, longer days and everyone just seems so much happier! We are in the planning phases of our large annual conference this year in a new location with new venues, meeting rooms, etc and it is very exciting. Companies are booking reception spaces and hotel rooms are filling up! And this is March still!! I am truly hoping this will be the largest NYSCATE Annual to date!

  • Get those classroom grants in! Time is running out and I KNOW you all have the coolest ideas just waiting to take shape. I also love that the grant program is now named after our late son, Brandon. The legacy and impact of these grants is the best possible way to remember his light and love for technology and people. If you have not applied, what is holding you back? Make some magic in that classroom and let NYSCATE help!

  • Kudos to the leadership team at Corning-Painted Post High School, with the help of GST BOCES executed a flawless regional conference last Monday! The sessions, the vendors, the food, and the entire day were just outstanding. One of the highlights of my position is to visit many schools throughout the state and the pride that this team had was second to none. Thank you to all of the educators who joined us and to Mike Doughty and Julie Smith for delivering phenomenal keynote addresses. All in all a fantastic day and I look forward to the next!
