NOTES FROM LORI

Hello OffiCenter Community! We felt the love last month with inquiries that still continue to flood in and the most sales activity we've seen in over 4 years. We added new full time office members at all of our locations and conference room bookings have been off the chart. With several current members looking to expand and increased attendance at our monthly networking events, it's fair to say the madness will only continue in March! My team is here to help you grow your business in any way possible and are always ready to spring into action. Let's all end the first quarter strong.

A heartfelt thank you for your generous participation during Heart Health Month. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States, but it's also one of the most preventable. We raised $600 for the American Heart Association and brought awareness to our community by sharing a new heart fact each week on our digital signage and partnering with OC member Jasmine Brett-Stringer, who gave a CPR presentation at Woodbury earlier this week. If you missed it, watch how you can make an impact when someone's in a cardiac emergency HERE.

I'm excited to say we will be starting a MAJOR renovation at International Plaza this month. The changes may surprise some of you, but I promise a fresh and collaborative approach to our shared space. Things will SPRING into action soon and I look forward to a huge party upon the completion of the project. In the meantime, pardon our dust as we will be doing most of the work during the day. I love to shake things up a bit!

We are always grateful for your referrals of family, friends, and colleagues. YOU are our number one source for new members and we thank you for making us the number one collaborative workspace provider in the Twin Cities. Lucky for you, we're O'DUBLIN the referral reward bonus this month! As always, I look forward to seeing you in the workspaces and encourage you to MARCH into one of our many events. Happy Spring!

Pat Devine & Dale Brose of LTR Digital Group and members at Minnetonka, wrote a blog on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in digital marketing. AI is a game-changer, making it easier than ever for marketers to create targeted campaigns and reach their desired audience more effectively. AI-powered content creation tools are becoming increasingly popular as they provide a quick and efficient way to generate content. In their blog, they discuss how AI is being used in digital marketing and its benefits. Read more HERE.

Nathan Keech of Kreativ HQ and member at Woodbury, celebrated his 13th birthday yesterday. Even though he was born in 1972, which would make Nathan 52 years old, his actual birth date is only on the calendar every 4 years. Nathan is a Leap Day baby, or Leapling, and did not realize his birthday was nonexistent most years until he was 8, or make that 2, depending on how you choose to do the math. Watch his interview with Fox 9 News and hear how he embraces his uniqueness, as well as the origins of Leap Year HERE.

Cathy Paper of RockPaperStar and member at Union Plaza, believes you can enhance your network and generate powerful referrals through volunteering. Cathy, a networking guru, says the simple act of volunteering is a game-changer for networking and relationship building. It's not charity, but rather a strategic business move. By volunteering, you become immersed in the community you serve and gain valuable insights into its challenges and needs. Aligned with your passions, volunteering grows your connections organically and effortlessly. Watch HERE.

Park Place East management announced that they are re-launching their partnership with Foodsby, a lunch amenity that will be in our Park OffiCenter building. Each day Foodsby provides a list of restaurants delivering to the building. You place an order online or on the app and get notified when it's delivered to the building drop zone. International Plaza Remodel

We're thrilled to announce that our remodel at OffiCenters at International Plaza will begin later this month! Pardon our dust as we create a new workspace that will maximize collaboration. Members can expect the addition of quiet rooms (like the member favorite spaces at Minnetonka), both booth and banquette seating in the coworking space, updated meeting rooms and a modern, fresh look to our common areas, including a new kitchen and beverage station. Watch our social media and upcoming newsletters for timeline and progress updates. And, as always, that means there's a reason to party right around the corner!

Building Improvements at Woodbury OffiCenter!

There are some exciting new updates coming to the building at our Woodbury location that should start in the next couple of months! The building management team plans on repainting the back stairwell, elevator, and bathrooms on both floors. They will also be adding cameras to the property, restriping the parking lot, and working on some additional upgrades that are still being finalized. Watch our social media for updates as we will be keeping you informed on their progress. We hope you can stop by our Woodbury location in the coming months to check out the new improvements!

Supporting Burnsville

Backing the Blue Line, members at International Plaza, were called into action after the tragic events in Burnsville on February 18. This local non-profit organization relies on others to help with their mission, which has created important relationships like the one they have with fellow OC member Johnson & Sons Florist. Backing the Blue Line ordered 4,000 white roses, additional ribbon, and even red spray paint to make sure Burnsville police officers Matthew Ruge & Paul Elmstrand and fire medic Adam Finseth were honored appropriately. Johnson & Sons Florist delivered the roses and called multiple floral shops around the Twin Cities asking for additional bins so they could make sure the roses were well taken care of.

Our hearts go out to the families, law enforcement community and people of Burnsville. Backing the Blue line has created a list of ways to help support the families of these fallen heroes. More HERE.

"Purple Rain" Musical

Before the Purple Rain musical hits Broadway, it will have a run in Minneapolis. Announced in February, the musical's producer Orin Wolf revealed the stage adaptation of the classic film starring local royalty, Prince, will make its world premiere in Minneapolis. Currently scheduled for Spring of 2025, the musical will open at the State Theatre as part of Hennepin Theatre Trust's 2024-25 Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin season. From the press release: "It's only fitting that we launch this world premiere musical version in the city where it all began, Prince's hometown, Minneapolis." More details will be announced in the coming weeks and you can sign up to be notified of them HERE.

Arrive Alive, Just Drive!

OC is proud to support Justice4Katie at their 4th Annual Kicks4Katie Kickball Tournament on April 27 at SRO in Oak Grove. J4K was started in 2017 after the Founder's daughter, Katie Burkey, was killed by a distracted driver. He was speeding and swerving in rush hour traffic when his semi-truck, thousands of pounds overweight, carelessly slammed into the back of her stopped car, not braking until after impact. Justice4Katie is dedicated to making changes and creating awareness to help eliminate preventable injuries and deaths on our roads. Aside from fun on the field, there will be raffles, silent auction, a DJ, food, other fun games and more! Register, or get more information HERE.

Meet Chy!

Chy is one of our Office Service Specialists at Park OffiCenter and has been with us for almost 2 years. We are so grateful to have her bubbly personality on our team! When we asked what motivates her to come to work, she said two things, "My CoWorkers and my Park Members." Chy's go-to snack and beverage are dill pickle chips and a yellow or blue Gatorade. In her free time, she loves to relax with her kittens (Pumpkin and Tubz) and her boyfriend (Devon). One fun fact about Chy is that she is a burst of energy! Chy also shared her biggest achievement is being able to problem solve no matter what center she is at. Thank you for bringing such an infectious energy into our workspaces, Chy! YOU'RE AWESOME!
