PBUD Tackles Potty Time!

Calling all preschool parents! Is your little one ready to conquer the potty? The Palm Bay Utilities Department (PBUD) is proud to announce its new Potty-Training Program.

Developing healthy toilet habits at a young age is critical to becoming a “friendly flusher” and preserving our city’s wastewater system.

This 10-day program is a self-guided, take-home program led by Pete the Cat. Potty trainers can pick up a FREE kit at the Utilities Customer Care office at City Hall on or after March 1, 2024.

The kit includes a Potty Time with Pete the Kitty book, a roll of septic-safe toilet paper, a personal potty chart, and a sheet of potty chart stickers. Once the potty chart is completed, kiddos return the chart to Utilities Customer Care to be entered into the Flushdown Hall of Fame and receive a special award and prize!

Preschool and VPK teachers looking to participate can contact Utilities Community Outreach at 321-952-3410 for more information.

Palm Bay PD officers were on hand to help kick off Palm Bay West Little League! Toby had a blast asking all the players for autographs, and SWAT was on the scene to give a hands-on experience.
