Current, Prospective Students Can Apply for Scholarships through April 1
|
WNC Foundation has more than $800,000 in scholarship funding available for the 2023-24 academic year, making higher education possible for more students. The only requirements are that students be enrolled in at least six units at WNC, have a minimum grade-point average of 2.0 and complete the application by April 1.

A lively Legislative Reception presented by the Nevada System of Higher Education attracted many state senators and representatives to Western Nevada College's Joe Dini Library on March 13. WNC President Dr. J. Kyle Dalpe addressed a crowd of more than 100 people, and NSHE Acting Chancellor Dale Erquiaga and Regents Carol Del Carlo, Jeff Downs, Dr. Michelee Cruz-Crawford, Joseph Arrascada and Heather Brown were in attendance.
