Like all of you, I wish I had a crystal ball to look into the future. I have never been one to believe in astrology and what the stars are telling me. However, it seems that during the COVID-19 pandemic I have been reading the astrology section a little more closely. It feels good when I start my day to read “Let your intelligence lead the way today” or “Focus on what you want today” and my favorite “Money matters look promising." One day last week I had a little extra time to read the paper and decided to read all the horoscopes. I discovered that we are all living under the lucky stars or I just have multiple personalities and can relate to them all. Let me share:

Pisces – “Don’t stop until you reach your goal. Use your intuition to navigate your way through any challenges you face.”

Aries – “Attend virtual meetings today to connect with people who have something to offer and explore new possibilities. Trust your intuition.”

Taurus – “Let others make the first move. Don’t put yourself at risk or do something that will make you look bad.”

Gemini – “Observation is your best friend. Expand your interests. Listen and think.”

Cancer – “Keep your plans secret until you have everything in place. Preparation will help you come out ahead.”

Leo – “Don’t jump to conclusions today or make assumptions. Stand back and let situations play out naturally”

Virgo – “Stick to what you know and do best. Concentrate today on personal changes that will bring you peace of mind”

Libra – “You are better off doing things today on your own.”

Scorpio – “Build relationships with people who share your values."

Sagittarius – “Put your money to proper use. Don’t spend unnecessarily or expect others to pay your way.”

Capricorn – “Leave nothing to chance and look for pitfalls that can lead to a disagreement or loss.”

Aquarius – “Question whatever you don’t understand and if you don’t get a satisfactory explanation be prepared to walk away.”

In case you are wondering, I am an Aries. I thought it was particularly inciteful that it said I would be in a virtual meeting today...Every day I attend virtual meetings…It is what we meeting planners do!

It has been a year now since COVID-19 entered our lives. This year has been difficult but most of us have at least survived it or found a way to pivot. (BTW “pivot” is becoming one of my least favorite words.) We have made the changes necessary to carry on and stay optimistic as we grow closer and closer to the end of the pandemic.

So, what’s next, in this COVID World we are living in? All I know is that my reading was true for today. I will have to read the paper tomorrow to find out what’s next. Or maybe I need to find that old “Magic 8 Ball” we used as kids and ask it the questions!

Excuse me…As the horoscope prediction stated, I have a virtual online meeting I must sign on to.
