Using NVC consciousness to bring self-empathy, connection, and heart-felt giving to deepen our conversations around all forms of racism.
Have you ever been afraid to talk about race, racism, or the systems of policing in America? Or have tried and it hasn’t gone as well as you would have liked?
Please join us to expand and deepen your conversations around systemic and interpersonal racism. We will be using and integrating the consciousness of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), a process/language designed to create connection and natural giving from the heart. Weekly Empathy Circles for Parents & Educators!
|
As Parents, Educators, and Caregivers, we tend to focus a lot of our attention on our children and our students while many of our own needs go unmet. It can be challenging to raise and guide children when our buckets are empty.
The Empathy Circle is a time when we can be with our own experiences - to focus some attention on our own needs.
"I am just really, really grateful. I recognize that I give a lot of support and sometimes make roses out of dandelions. I realize there are really times when I need support as well. It’s really helpful to be heard and think to myself - hear the words back and think, wow there’s something here that I maybe wouldn’t have looked at."
Participation is free and open to all parents, educators, and caregivers. No prior experience is required. Join us to connect with other parents, educators, and caregivers. Share your joys and your challenges, and receive support through listening and compassionate presence.
