Have you ever felt that your life was too obscure and your work too lowly for you to be a useful witness for the Lord? According to God’s Word, you have no logical basis for such an assumption. If you are fully surrendered to the Lord, he can use you right where you are.
Paul was put out of circulation in a Roman prison, yet he didn’t consider himself as a useless prisoner of Rome. Instead, he thought of himself as a prisoner of Jesus Christ and, while there, gave some of his greatest witnesses in the form of his epistles.
Our anonymous little Hebrew maid was rather inconspicuous as Mrs. Naaman’s household servant, but she had a very important ministry. Her heart was so full of the love of God that it was the most natural thing for her to let it overflow to others. She took her nearest opportunity to witness, right in her own household.
Many times the Lord would say to us: “Go home to thy friends and tell what great things the Lord has done for thee.”
Ask God to use you for his glory as a witness right where you are.
