A FEW ROTTEN APPLES SPOILS THE WHOLE BUNCH
Friday, May 7, 2021
When fruit is kept together, the fruit must remain fresh. If one piece starts to rot, the rot quickly moves from one piece of fruit to the next, until the entire bunch is rotten.

If all the cancer is not removed, cells can implant themselves in the same or other parts of the body, and cause a cancer metastasis. At the writing of this devotion, my father, retired Pastor Ed Neal, is going through a journey with a very rare, very fast spreading cancer. He is consulting with doctors to determine the best way to destroy the cancer and have it removed. They will take a centimeter around the tumor to increase the chances of getting ALL the cells. If someone has coronavirus and leaves quarantine too early, or ends up with a false negative test, this person can spread the virus to family, friends, co-workers, strangers. In this Scripture, it is important that the Israelites who are invading Canaan to get rid of the ENTIRE native population. Not doing so would keep some of the natives in the area and they would wreak havoc on the Israelites. Think about how your eye feels with an eyelash in it, or your finger/foot with a splinter in it. Not comfortable and, if not gotten rid of immediately, infection will surely set in!

Let’s rid ourselves of the rotten parts of our lives so that our whole lives don’t spoil!
