As a short break from the headlines, and as a member of the "repentance family," look what the LORD has NOW done in Malawi: earlier this week we shared the powerful testimony of Joseph Kazembe and the OUT training; then another Malawi Miracle report from Pastor Edward Mikwamba, a 12 day repentance move throughout the nation, in fresh teams of unity, with 15 key speakers, to hold powerful repentance gatherings for thousands.
Today we feature Malawi Miracle #3: the JESUS FARMS. Here are highlights from Pastor Edward's report:
Jesus farms ministry in Malawi have united church leaders and chiefs from different denominations
Like at Malawi Lowershire Esther Farm we were able to reach 100 church leaders and 20 traditional chiefs
The crops were able to be given to the aged and the orphans
Most of the people who were involved in witchcraft and polygamy have repented through the farm ministry
In Mulanje at Suzanna farms the orphans and the aged and the sick are given the harvest free
This has forced the lady chief to offer a place for people to worship Jesus and repent
People have been saved and healed
Through repentance we prayed for the 10 chiefs in Mulanje and gave them Bibles
In the same mulanje District there was a funeral of a member of repentance and according to Felister, Suzanna farm leader, the proceeds from the farm fed 5000 people
This is the modern feeding of the 5000
In Balaka north under Pastor Mind is the model of Jesus farm
They plant all the year round!!!
We use rain fed Agriculture
After that winter cropping through irrigation is used
The farm is surrounded by four dams
Now under Global Day of Repentance we plan to buy our own land to cut off rental land costs
The balance of 350 dollars needed for us to own land
We plan to build a conference center on repentance and plant our own crops
Currently we are planting sweet potatoes, maize, tomatoes, onions and greens we use to assist needy pastors and conferences
Last year also planted 3000 cabbages at David center in Thyolo
We reached many people with Repentance
Jesus Farms in Balaka under Pastor Mind has been a place of Repentance and prayer every week when they go for irrigation
Pastor Mind and his team and our team from Blantyre we normally pray together at Gideon Farm and pray for families and Malawi
Those people who are sick also come to the farm and repent then they are prayed for
Some have been healed from skin cancer, epilepsy, diabetes and over due pregnancy
One unique thing is that they are also reaching moslems to Jesus in Repentance
During the recent Malawi Africa repentance and prayer summit in Balaka north under Pastor Mind, Senior Chief Kachenga, a moslem came to attend the repentance summit
A senior chief in Malawi is expected by the people and government
They are custodians of culture and land
Never in our repentance prayers since we started a senior chief has attended our prayers
He came with his 3 junior chiefs
Senior chief kachenga during Repentance prayers He recieved Jesus as His lord and savior
This means that people in Balaka north predominantly moslem including chiefs under Him will recieve Jesus
Senior Chief kachenga is a senior member of Balaka District council and also chiefs council of Malawi
He made confession prayer through Albert a member of Acts 6 v 3 team
The chief pledged to plant a church where repentance will be preached
He is asking for Bibles donation as they used Koran
He said He heard good news that Jesus farm ministry praying for people
Wow! Jesus farm reaching the lost through repentance
