Dear Friends,

We hope you've been enjoying your summer. World Cares Center has quite a bit to reflect on so far. One of our key initiatives was bringing together communities of learners for a series of enriching training sessions centered around stress management and emotional resilience. Together, we delved into deep discussions on these topics, while identifying stressors and outlining effective coping strategies. In addition, we connected in a virtual roundtable to discuss the importance of drowning prevention and safety measures. Special thank you to Nathan Etrog for being our subject matter expert and leading this important discussion!

World Cares is also excited about our upcoming annual Stars Under the Stars fundraising event, which takes place on September 19th at Fornino, Brooklyn Bridge Park. In addition to being a fun evening, the event allows us to honor and thank Ready Responders, community volunteers, and front-line emergency workers. It is also serves to raise awareness and critical funds for World Cares and our mission to train and protect. Please see below for more information on attending, sponsoring, and donating.

As we continue through the last month of the summer, we look forward to continuing to provide valuable resources and training opportunities to support the well-being of workers, managers and Ready Responders alike.
