Dear Friends,

As we transition into the summer months, let’s take a moment to reflect on the Spring we're leaving behind. World Cares Center brought together a community of learners for a series of enriching training sessions centered around stress management and emotional resilience. Together, we delved into deep discussions, identifying stressors, and crafting effective strategies for protection.

Through our Lunch & Learn gatherings, we shared insights on the crucial role of peer support and emotional first aid in overcoming workplace challenges. These sessions weren't just about acquiring skills—they were about fostering connections and building a workplace culture that's supportive and resilient for everyone involved.

World Cares Center joined Jamie Seino on his podcast "There's a Lesson in here Somewhere" to discuss the creation of WCC, the Disaster Volunteer Credential, our Ukraine Program, the importance of Emotional resiliency and so much more!

As we welcome the month of June, we're excited to continue providing valuable resources and training opportunities to support the well-being of workers, managers and Ready Responders alike. These individuals frequently stand on the frontline of disaster response and often grapple with the lingering effects and emotional toll of the aftermath. From stress management to emotional resilience, our upcoming sessions aim to equip you with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate high-stress work environments with confidence.
