The Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce this unique Breakfast Opportunity for our Region.
President James Bullard, of the 8th Federal Reserve District, will be giving an update on the
U.S. Economy and Monetary Policy.
He
is a noted economist and scholar, and his positions are founded on research-based thinking and an intellectual openness to new theories and explanations.

James (“Jim”) Bullard is the president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. In that role, he is a participant on the Federal Reserve’s Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), which meets regularly to set the direction of U.S. monetary policy. He also oversees the Federal Reserve’s Eighth District, including activities at the St. Louis headquarters and its branches in Little Rock, Ark., Louisville, Ky., and Memphis, Tenn.

Description:
We are pleased to welcome our keynote speaker, Major General Kendall W. Penn as our First Friday Breakfast Speaker in March. Major General Kendall W. Penn assumed duties as The Adjutant General, Arkansas National Guard on August 10, 2019. He is a member of the Governor's Cabinet and is responsible for commanding the Arkansas Air and Army National Guard, with nearly 10,000 Airmen, Soldiers and state employees. As Adjutant General, General Penn is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the readiness, fiscal, personnel, equipment, and real property resources of the Military Department, and ensures the training readiness of all personnel to accomplish both state and federal missions.

Congratulations to Krystina Cherry Clinic Manager for
MedExpress Urgent Care
for being selected as our Chamber Ambassador of the Month for the month of January! Krystina is a graduate of University of Arkansas - Fort Smith and also serves a one of the University's College of Business mentors to help seniors in the program transition into the workforce. She has a passion to help others and wants to see her River Valley community thrive. As the Clinic Manager for the Fort Smith MedExpress location she oversees daily operations.
