A letter from the Executive Director

Greetings from MOHC,

The Michigan Oral Health Coalition (MOHC) cordially invites you to join our dynamic and inclusive organization dedicated to optimizing oral health for all Michiganders. Our mission is grounded in advocacy, education, and progressive action to ensure complete oral health for every resident of our state. We champion for dental providers, ensuring they receive adequate payments for their crucial services. Moreover, we provide continuing education programs on topics such as oral health workforce, oral health care innovations, and dental public health.

At MOHC, we are proud of our diverse initiatives to address the needs of underrepresented groups and fill gaps in oral health care. Our successful development and execution of the State Oral Health Plan for 2025, advocacy for increased Adult Medicaid Dental rates, and hosting of highly acclaimed annual conferences are just a few examples of our accomplishments. Together, we can significantly impact the oral health landscape in Michigan. Thank you for considering this invitation—we look forward to collaborating with you to further our mission.

Warm Regards,

Ellen Sugrue Hyman
