Happy Give to the Max Day! Your gift to the Ann Bancroft Foundation can unlock $100,000+ in GTMD prizes from GiveMN. That means you can do even more to support Minnesota girls in pursuing greatness and success.

Yesterday, we awarded grants to 140 youth in Minnesota for our 2023 fall grant cycle. With these grants, over one hundred girls can access the resources to succeed and thrive. We rely on donors like you to provide these life-changing experiences. Your gift directly supports future scientists, writers, athletes, and community leaders.

Our theme this year is the Power of 1,000 -- with a generous donation of $1,000, you single-handedly provide the funding for a girl's transformative, meaningful activity or experience.  But, no matter what size, every gift is life-changing to our many grantees. Girls across Minnesota use these grants for participation in competitive athletics and dance, STEM opportunities, leadership training, fine and performing arts, and much more.

Help us reach our goal of $20,000 to continue these transformative programs. Thank you for showing your support of the Ann Bancroft Foundation on Give to the Max 2023.

My Reason for Giving

Abby Endres received a grant from the Ann Bancroft Foundation in 2012. Today, she supports ABF with gifts every Give to the Max Day. She stays involved with ABF, joining our boat on the Wilderness Inquiry Great River Race.

How were you impacted by your Ann Bancroft Foundation Grant?

The Dare to Dream Grant I received 10 years ago helped to both solidify and inform my love of the outdoors. After completing the Ecology Camp held at Wolf Ridge ELC, I went on to study earth sciences at Gustavus Adolphus. The projects I completed at Wolf Ridge helped give me the confidence to apply for and participate in research opportunities throughout my time in college!

Why do you support the Ann Bancroft Foundation on Give to the Max Day?

My grant afforded me a unique opportunity to learn more about our natural world, and in turn, a bit about myself as well! I am still very grateful for that experience, and I want to help ABF continue to support girls in having their own formative adventures.
