Claudia Cuentas is a Peruvian singer, songwriter, educator and researcher. She weaves song, art, and traditional practices from the Andes to support community resiliency and creativity. Jahan Khalighi is a poet, musician and educator who has performed internationally and led Planetary Dance at the Venice Biennale 2017. He is a Poet-Teacher for California Poets In The Schools, an organizing member of the Justice Arts Collective at Chabot College, and co-founder with Claudia Cuentas of Dances For Change.  dancesforchange.com |  vimeo  | youtube
The evening will include a screening of Andy Abrahams Wilson's beautifully shot documentary film on Anna Halprin's Planetary Dance.  He is the Executive Director and Senior Producer of Open Eye Pictures and a multi-award winning, Oscar shortlisted and Emmy nominated maker of creative non-fiction films.

Doors open at 7:30pm - Performances begin at 8:00 pm
All ticket revenues go towards Tamalpa ArtCorps, offering programs and scholarships that bring the healing power of dance and the arts to disadvantaged communities.
