Shop Local Campaign
to Launch August 1st!

The Fort Smith Chamber is excited to promote its Back to School Shop Local awareness campaign starting on August 1st! There is still time if you would like us to include information about a discount to your shoppers during our campaign period, or you can donate a prize for our campaign giveaways.
The campaign will run from August 1st - August 15th.
Look for our promotional information starting this week on where you can enter to win one of our prize giveaways. Remember it is important to Shop Local big or small all year round!

After the Breakfast Presentation- There will be a breakout session (First Friday Breakout Session-Meet the SBA) from 9:00-10:00 across the Hall from the Reynolds Room. This session will dive into more details from the Breakfast Session and also engage with businesses to discuss your specific challenges and opportunities to provide you with more practical, hands-on guidance.
This second session is free but limited seating.

2019 Teacher Appreciation Breakfast Events
Each year the Chamber and our Education Committee host Teacher Appreciation Breakfast events to express our gratitude for the hard work and dedication of our area teachers.
These events offer our members the opportunity to also show their appreciation by sponsoring these two events.

PaYS Program: Partnership for Youth Success
|
The Army established the PaYS program as a means to share qualified individuals with employers. The Army carefully screens, selects,
trains and provides hands-on experience to individuals in many different skills. These
future employees are professionally trained and
experienced. Employers save training and human resource recruitment dollars by becoming a PaYS partner.

Healthcare Appreciation Reception
Quality healthcare is a key factor in economic development. Each year, the Chamber and our Healthcare Council, comprised of healthcare professionals that represent our region, express our gratitude to current physicians and thank new physicians for choosing to practice and serve here in the Fort Smith area. During this reception, the annual "Physican of the Year Award" is presented to a doctor who has made a significant contribution and impact to the community. The Healthcare Reception offers our sponsors the opportunity to meet and give back to our area physicians.
