Mainstreet SA Members Vivienne Holloway and Bill Boehm from Roxby Downs Council, SA, won the 2013 Alyvia O'Dey Excellence in Mainstreet Award at this year's National Mainstreet Australia Conference held in Melbourne last week.

Presenting in the conference stream of 'Working Together - Achieving More' Roxby's presentation based on 'Creating a World Class Community from the Dust', which Vivienne and Bill also presented at the Mainstreet SA State Conference last month, won the prestigious award which recognises key Mainstreet Australia principles, passion, alliances, best practice, leadership and local partnerships.

On the same night, Mainstreet SA Vice Chairman and Renew Adelaide Deputy Chair, Steve Maras, was also presented with the trophy on behalf of former Renew Adelaide CEO, Dr Ianto Ware, and former Project Manager, Lara Torr, for the same award, for their fantastic presentation at the 2011 National Mainstreet Australia Conference held in Adelaide.

Having two South Australian organisations winning this coveted award at successive national conferences is an outstanding endorsement for the Mainstreet work being produced in South Australia.

Congratulations to the Roxby Downs Council and Renew Adelaide teams!
