This month we would like to recognize Sheila Farrell as OEI’s August “Star of the Month.” Sheila has been working as a Direct Support Professional in our Searsport Region since 2016. Her experience as a DSP spans over two decades which in and of itself speaks to her passion and commitment to the field. The exceptional service she provides in unmatched. The individuals Sheila supports are naturally drawn to her, and she has a knack for making everyone who comes in contact with her have a brighter day just by being in her presence. Known for her calm demeanor and straightforward approach, Sheila takes pride in encouraging individuals to try new things and to adopt a self-sufficient mindset. She is an incredibly hard worker, remarkably dependable, with a record of perfect attendance, never missing a day of work! Outside of work, she remains just as incredible! She takes pride in caring for her home and her grandchildren, including a bonus grandchild, with the same devotion. Not to mention everyone’s love for her signature homemade lasagna! 😊 Thank you Sheila for all that you do to make this world a little brighter every day! We are proud to have to as a member of the OEI Family!

July Recap:

We are pleased to share that in the previous month, our attention was dedicated to supporting animal rescues, rehabs, and shelters. Through our kindness activities, we aimed to make a positive impact on the lives of our furry friends in need. By focusing our efforts on initiatives that benefit these organizations, we are proud to contribute towards the well-being and care of animals in our community. Team Auburn even collected and donated 200lbs of pet food to a local shelter! Kudos to everyone who participated and showed their support in this meaningful cause. 🐾💖
