Mai Hanukkah? “What is Hanukkah?”
Dear TBZ Community,

Hanukkah begins next week, the first night is Thursday December 10th. The story of Hanukkah is introduced in the Talmud (Shabbat 21b) with the question, “Mai Hanukkah?” “What is Hanukkah?” We are all getting very adept and creative at finding ways to celebrate together while keeping our community safe. Here are some ways you can answer the question of “Mai Hanukkah?” together with TBZ:

What is Hanukkah...without some gifts?
TBZ has a Hanukkah Gift bag for every member household of our community, sponsored by the Inclusion Committee and with gratitude to the Ruderman Synagogue Inclusion Project. The Hanukkah gift bag includes surprises and treats to bring a bit of TBZ warmth to your home.

Please use this form to let us know whether you would like to pick up your bag between Monday and Thursday, December 7th to 10th between 9am-4pm or if you are not able to pick up your Hannukah gift bag and would like to have it delivered or if you are able to volunteer and deliver Hanukkah gift bags to fellow members. All delivery requests and volunteers must be complete by December 4th.
