Homam: Shivaratri celebrations will begin with Ganapathy Puja and includes Rudra homam, Chandi homam, Navagraha homam, and other Shanti homas.
Ekadasa Rudra homam - The Sri Rudra Namakam will be chanted 11 times followed by Chamakam along with offerings of Ghee into the sacrificial fire. Eleven forms of Lord Rudra are invoked and this worship is considered the most beneficial to overcome karmic issues bestowing positive energy and overall well-being.
Abishekam - Rudrabisheakm will be performed for Pradosham and on Shivarathri night, Rudrabishekam will be performed 11 times, starting at 6:30 p.m., Sat, Feb 18.
Lingodbhava (midnight) kala abishekam will be followed by Annabhisekam to Sahasrallinga swamy.
Shiva Parvati kalyanam will be performed early morning at 4 am on Sun, Feb 19th.
