Dear Hindu,
Spring is finally here! We are nearing the final leg of the preparation for the grand celebration and performance of Maha Kumbhabhishekam, a once-in-12-year festive event. Maha Kumbhabhishekam will be held from May 11 to 15, 2022 at the Hindu Temple of Saint Louis.
As you know, the Board / EC / Maha Kumbhabhishekam Committee has set major goals for the upcoming festival and requests the entire community’s support in achieving them. The committee is working diligently to ensure the festival is going to be a great event in the history of our temple. The goal is to make this a festival of every HOME.
A host of cultural, religious and spiritual events have been planned to make this a memorable and divine experience for all of us. Kindly note that this is the most auspicious opportunity to invoke, invite and revel in divine grace as a host of Homas and Rituals have been planned as part of the festivities.
We are sending you this personal invitation to request your presence and participation in this momentous occasion with your family to get the blessings of the deities. The deities will be invoked through ceremonial fires and Vedic chants observed within the strict scriptural essence as prescribed by the shastras.
Please find details of the events at MAHA KUMBHABHISHEKAM HOME on the temple website. We have also enclosed a brochure that offers a summary of the events in detail and the ceremonies to be performed.
Considering that many of you are looking forward to the opportunity to make contributions and pledges, we have enclosed a pledge form. You can fill in the form and send it to us. Please feel free to email us at maha2022@hindutemplestlouis.org or call us at 636.230.3300 for additional information.
If you have already made a pledge, we request you to contact us to chart out a plan to fulfill them. You may extend this pledge form to anyone who might not have been in the know of the event. We do not want anyone to miss the opportunity to stay in touch with our collective spiritual ethos.
We look forward to seeing you all at the event. Thank you for your continued support.
Regards,
Srini Rajnikanth
