At Red Mountain Theatre, Maggie Cansler Ness takes on 'Beautiful' role she helped create

Fourteen years ago, Maggie Cansler Ness joined other actors at a table, taking part in the first reading of "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical." She read the role of songwriter Cynthia Weil. Now, in 2024, she's finally playing the role in a production of "Beautiful" at Red Mountain Theatre.
