A lot of adoptive parents feel guilt when they ask themselves that question in hindsight. A mother of 3 adoptive children shares her story as she brings home her fourth. Her newly adopted daughter was described as "happy, outgoing, witty, friendly, and eager to please". But the behavior she displayed and the transition she made was extremely difficult. There were days of coldness, not connecting, defiance, and confusion. Initially the mother thought, was this a mistake?
