A Note from Cody, 20 Somethings Life Group Leader...
Psalm 9:1

"I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds."

It's nearing the time of year where giving thanks to God and speaking of Jesus' birth are accepted the most in today's society. The time of year where families pray together openly and celebrate the birth of our glorious king, Jesus.  However, we are not called to celebrate Him in this time alone.  We are called to step out of the norms and be different.  We are called to be God's children and to praise him every day that we are blessed with the gift of life.

Christ was born to save us from our sins and to be our guiding light from birth to death, including every day in between. We were created so that we could accept the love that God had for us and learn to be in that intimate personal relationship with him.  This relationship is meant to be a lifelong celebration with Him.  We are meant to celebrate him, give thanks to him above all others, and to let his light shine on the world around us.

Psalm 9:1 says that "I will tell of all your wonderful deeds." The greatest thing that we can do to glorify God is to simply bring others to know Him and to accept the love that He has for us.  During this time of year, we give thanks for his grace and his ultimate forgiveness of our sins through his son, Jesus.  We also learn about Jesus' birth. We learn how our almighty king was born to a virgin and placed in a manger in Jerusalem.  However, the rest of His story is what brings us here.  His story is meant for the world to hear and to share the love that He has put in our lives.  While this time of year makes it easy to think of the love that Jesus has for us, I challenge you to give thanks with all that you have.  Tell those you love who don't have that intimate relationship with God of the wonderful deeds that He has done for you.  God wants that relationship with us, and he wants to love those around us as well. It is our job to be shepherds in His wonderful name, so that those around us can gain that intimate personal relationship as well.

THE CROSSING KIDS

We place high value on kids here at The Crossing. We strive to create an experience where kids can connect to God and discover His will. We use age appropriate lessons and media to engage kids so they can connect with God at their level. We love kids and look forward each week for the opportunity to tell them about our amazing God and show them that He loves them too.

THE CROSSING KIDS ministry is for

K-5 and happens every Thursday night

at 6:00 and Sundays 9:00 and 10:45.

FUSE
If you have a 6th, 7th, or 8th grader and you are looking for ways to help them get closer to Jesus then FUSE is for you. This ministry is tailored specifically for middle school students and meets during second service every Sunday in the Studio. They do church together, communion together, and they break out into small groups. Small groups are where they will form relationships, ask questions and understand the sermon better.  Now is a great time to get your 6th, 7th, or 8th grader plugged in!

If you have any questions,  please contact
