Macedonia's Future is in Our Hands!
A Message from the Chairman of the UMD Board

It has been a busy year so far for the United Macedonian Diaspora. Our critically important work continues to ensure that Macedonians worldwide have their voice heard and their rights recognized. Our success comes from our ability to come together as a community and create a force for meaningful change. From the United States to Australia, momentum is building for our efforts and we want to continue this growth for the future.

In fact, our voice today is louder than ever before, and you are a big reason for that. As you know, all of UMD's efforts and initiatives are made possible from generous donations by our members, and thanks to you and other like-minded Macedonians and friends of Macedonia, our voice around the world has never been louder before.

UMD is there for Macedonia, because you are there for UMD.

I want to thank you for your continued support over the years, and I would like to ask you to
please join us today with a $25, $50, $100, $500, $1,000, or even $2,500 tax-deductible contribution to help UMD achieve much more.

Becoming a UMD member is easy. With a simple click, you can donate  online via our secured system, and be a vital part of UMD's work for Macedonia.

With thanks,

Stojan Nikolov
UMD Chairman
Our work may not be done, but thanks to support from our members, we have been able to accomplish a lot!

On March 7, 2015, the United Macedonian Diaspora's Next Generation Program, Generation M (Gen M), officially launched in the United States.  Generation M serves to empower and unite the Macedonian youth around the world. Since their launch Generation M has hosted several committee meetings, and has expanded its network into more U.S states, as well as parts of Canada and Europe.

Columbus, Ohio recently hosted UMD and Generation M's Second Annual Macedonian-American Leadership Conference. Reconnecting Macedonians with Birthright Macedonia

Looking to give young Macedonians the opportunity to create a relationship with Macedonia, UMD launched Birthright Macedonia. With Birthright, students of Macedonian heritage live abroad with a host family in Macedonia during the summer. While there, they are assigned an internship program that complements their academic goals, career goals or general interests.
