On November 24, Eugene Water and Electric Board (EWEB) held their annual Run to Stay Warm Race, right along the Willamette River. The event was well-attended by both participants and spectators who came out to watch, cheer and take part in the festivities.
Several wastewater staff also participated in the race (see photo) and enjoyed a damp but fun day, supporting a good cause. The Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission was happy to again sponsor this year's event, which raises funds to assist those in our community to ensure they have heat this winter.
