October 2022
IN THIS ISSUE:
Welcome to the October 2022 issue of the Municipal Water District of Orange County’s (MWDOC) eCurrents newsletter. This week, we’re celebrating water professionals across the state for their dedication to delivering a clean, safe, and reliable water supply every day. With cause to celebrate, MWDOC’s Leak Detection Program has located nearly a thousand hidden leaks, saving roughly enough water to serve 1,500 Orange County households for a year! Additionally, as water and energy industry professionals brace for a wave of retirements, the Water Energy Education Alliance (WEEA) offers FREE recruitment brochures to help engage the next generation of skilled workers. And, in case you missed it, more than 350 industry professionals gathered together for the 14th annual OC Water Summit, MWDOC hosted a brand new interactive Water Awareness Poster Contest awards ceremony, AND Ricky the Rambunctious Raindrop was seen on the run sharing water-saving tips with residents of all ages.

All of this and more valuable resources, information, and announcements are in the latest issue of eCurrents!
