Welcome to the Municipal Water District of Orange County’s (MWDOC) October 2021 eCurrents newsletter.
School is back in session, and so are a few of MWDOC’s special events! Nearly 200 guests attended our recent Water Policy Forum & Dinner featuring The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California’s new General Manager and Chief Executive Officer, Adel Hagekhalil.
Mr. Hagekhalil will also be one of the headliners for the next OC Water Summit, which is back at Disney’s Grand Californian once again this year.
In our member agency spotlight, we take a look at Santa Margarita Water District’s recent accord to provide water and wastewater service to the City of San Juan Capistrano. And, as wildfires continue to burn throughout California, Yorba Linda Water District brings another Heli-Hydrant online to protect their customers. All of this and more, in this latest issue of eCurrents.
