Additionally, we bring you the MWDOC Water Loss Control Shared Services Business Plan - an extensive plan that explores cost, equipment, expertise, and service sharing opportunities for participating Orange County water retail agencies. We also introduce you once again to the MWDOC Water Awareness Poster Contest, and provide a 2018 water legislative brief.

MWDOC WATER POLICY FORUM & DINNER
Thursday, February 21, 2019
5:30 PM to 8:00 PM
As the focal point for water distribution throughout the state, the sustainability of California’s water resources depends on the environmental stability of the Delta. However, 50-year old, man-made dirt levees are all that protect the region’s vital imported water supply from earthquake damage, salt-water intrusion, rising sea levels, storms and floods. After nearly a decade of review, planning, and analysis, the California WaterFix was selected as the best long-term plan for the Delta. How will this mega project impact Orange County’s water supply reliability?
Save the date
and join us,
Thursday, February 21
, for a MWDOC Water Policy Forum & Dinner featuring a guest panel of Delta experts with experience in environmental planning and legislation including Curt Schmutte, Owner, Curt Schmutte Consulting.
