Welcome to the April issue of the Municipal Water District of Orange County’s (MWDOC) eCurrents newsletter. After a historic drought, a parade of storms has soaked the state, leaving abundant snowpack and reservoirs filling. In this issue of eCurrents, we look at the April snowpack survey and what it means for the state. Also, MWDOC Board President Megan Yoo Schneider tackles water supply challenges, conservation, drought, and more on OC Talk Radio’s Impact OC.
Additionally, as we welcome warmer, drier weather, MWDOC offers quick tips for water-smart outdoor living to save every precious drop of water the wet winter storms delivered. Finally, we have a sharable list of native plants to enhance your water-smart garden, and MWDOC and the Wyland Foundation team up once again to challenge Orange County residents to be mindful of their water use. All of this and more in this April issue of eCurrents!
