FAITH IN ACTION

This week we will continue our examination of Biblical Justice with particular emphasis on righteousness. We will build build on our previous attempts to to define Justice as it relates to the Bible, where the term appears 175 times in the Old and New Testaments. Join us at 9:15 for a rip-snortin' discussion.

YOUTH GROUP - DISNEY PLUS CHURCH

Students in 6th through 12th grade are invited to join Ms. Brandi for Youth Group on March 17! We will be continuing our Disney Plus Church lessons and making posters for our fundraiser.

HELP NEEDED REMOVING BUSHES

Hopefully you've all noticed our new sign on Sherwood Hall Lane; and while we still have a ways to go before the project is completed, it is going to be a wonderful addition to our 'campus.' Unfortunately, in order for the sign to be visible there are some large bushes that need to be removed. If you would be interested in helping out, contact Pastor Bob and we will find a date that works for everyone.

Thanks!

HELP NEEDED CLEARING OUT BRANCHES

Our Colorful Easter Run is just a few weeks away and we need your help to clear the pathway! If you have free time and are able to help, please come on over and help clear the way. The picture has the trail marked for the run.

CONGREGATIONAL CARE MEETING

Join the Congregational Care team for a meeting on March 10 in the library following worship. For more information, please contact Kay.

CASSEROLE NEEDED

There is a need for a casserole (without beef or pork) baked for 8 people for March 21. The casserole will need to be delivered to Mondloch House, 3510 Lockheed Blvd, Alexandria, VA 22306, at 5 pm. Call 703-683-3400 when you arrive to let them know you are dropping it off. You can leave the casserole on the cart on the porch to the right of the main house. You may also leave the dinner earlier, if you need to, with reheating instructions. Please sign up HERE!

COOKIES FOR FELLOWSHIP

In an attempt to step-up our congregational hospitality, we'd like to begin offering homemade baked goods on Sunday mornings during the fellowship time. And because we don't want this to be a burden for any one person, we'd like the entire congregation to be involved. So, on the first Sunday of the month, people with last names beginning with the letters A-F are invited to bring homemade cookies to share. On the second Sunday, the same for people with last names beginning with G-L; the third Sunday, M-R; and the fourth Sunday, S-Z. Please help us out, and let's make our Sunday fellowship time even better than it already is!

COLORFUL EASTER RUN

We hope you are as excited as we are for our third annual Colorful Easter Run which is happening on March 24 from 12pm-1pm! We are expecting this year's event to be bigger and more fun than the previous two years. With that being said, we need YOUR help! We need filled Easter eggs for the children and volunteers to help throw colors and more. Please email Brandi if you are available to help! Also, be sure to register if you are attending. Spaces are filling up fast!

SAVE THE DATE

Save the date! We will be white water rafting together on April 27 at 1:00 pm! If you are interested, please contact Robin Winchell. More information will be available closer to the date.
