MVDDC's Public Forum for the 30th Senate District Primary Candidates is TONIGHT
Deputy Chair Karen Stallings will moderate a public forum for 30th state sentate district primary candidates Libby Garvey, Adam Ebbin and Rob Krupicka, 7-9 pm, Thursday, July 28 at the Mt Vernon Government Center.
Please view the attached flyer . Save it and email it to your friends and post it in locations frequented by Democrats. We want to draw as many voters as possible especially from the precincts newly in the 30th district. See map below.

July 8 - Absentee ballots must be available for primary election
August 23- Primary Election 6 am-7 pm.
Timeline of Events leading to the November 8 General Election
� July 1 - 7 PM August 23, 2011- A party selecting a nominee by any method other than the direct primary shall do so only within the period beginning Friday, July1, 2011, and ending at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2011
� 7 PM, August 23 - Candidate filing deadline and deadline for Party's to nominate candidates or 11/8/11 General and Special Elections
� 5 PM, August 26 - Party Chairs certify nominees to State Board of Elections and Local Electoral Board
� September 22 - Absentee ballots delivered to General Registrar
� September 23 - Absentee ballots must be available
