Downtown Project Construction Update - March 22, 2023 - Recent storms have affected construction, but the team has been able to successfully complete a great deal of demolition and concrete work. Check out the latest news about the project here.

DPW to the Rescue! Late one afternoon last week, crew members Miguel and Michael were finishing their rounds of catch basin cleaning when they heard a faint call for help. They searched for the source of the sound and were eventually able to find a resident stranded atop his house. The resident had been tarping off his roof to avoid storm damage. In the high winds of the afternoon, his ladder had blown over and he was left without a way to get down. Miguel and Michael were able to get the resident’s ladder back in place and helped him down safely; he was very grateful for the assistance!
